纽约最大的公立高中（Francis Lewis High School ) 的年度国际音乐节。各个种族和国家的孩子各展神通。当口琴演奏美国国歌时，80%的学生齐唱；当演奏中国国歌时，全体华裔含泪齐唱。 以下摘录部分孩子们给口琴小弟的QQ感言：
Today I went to the festival.
I believe everything is possible.
Because of one guy,
He is a Chinese guy.
I was so excited，
That he's from my home country.
When he played the Harmonica,
I heard the National Anthem of China
Every people attended.
Cause We have a home named China.
We are Chinese as a Family.
When I was there I heard other guys，
Who were laughing about the Anthem.
So I want to tell you something.
Respecting a Culture is an important thing.
Thank you my family

I am proud I'm Chinese.
假如是从小生活和学习在一起的小伙伴，长大后，因为性相近，习相同，代表各自的团队很正常，互相也更容易理解。难道这就是传说中的中美国？这些少年先锋队，离乡背井，虽然生活和学习环境远优于前辈的插队落户和上山下乡。但是，他们也始终在寻找认同和归属感。当口琴小弟下来时，获得了10个男生，3个女生，4个老师的拥抱。让我们全球华人一起拥抱这些远涉重洋的孩子们。因为他们是拥抱世界的少年先锋队。中国需要走向世界，世界也应该拥抱中国。
